Live Oak Cot is a single detached private unit located in the Uptown Historic District. This Craftsman is an extension of its mother home just next door, built in the early 1900s and listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Embracing the New Orleans flair, the cottage was originally painted in pink with teal shutters and remained as such until a change of ownership in 2014. The cottage was aptly named in admiration of the hundreds of magnificent live oak trees in the nearby Audubon Park and the surrounding neighborhood. |
